Horseback riding is a wholesome experience you can enjoy alone or with friends or family. Lake of the Ozarks Trail Rides is the perfect place to unwind and be surrounded by nature. The stables and ranch are within our 300-acre property, with trails flowing through meadows, forests, and creeks.

We conduct a safety orientation and horse introduction before each ride to ensure riders well-being and comfort level during their visit.

We are located near the Lake of the Ozarks between the towns of Eldon and Lake Ozark.

About Us

The family-owned ranch provides clients with horse-related recreation, including horseback riding, trail riding lessons and boarding. We offer rides from late April through October exclusively via reservation. Feel free to contact us anytime with any questions or special requests.

We will close for "Summer Break" July 15th until August 22nd to give our horses a break from the summer heat. If we missed you, hopefully we will see you in late summer or fall. We will be open through early November.

What services do you offer?

Do I need to bring anything?

For a smooth and hassle-free experience, we recommend you dress in long pants, apply sunscreen and bug spray. We will provide helmets, or you are welcome to bring your own.

You are welcome to bring phones and/or a camera; we will ask you to put them on silent or vibrate mode when out on the ride. You can bring your water bottle, or we also provide bottled water during your visit. For your convenience, we will provide a small saddle bag to carry your personal belongings and water.

What are the requirements for a trail ride?

How do I make a reservation?

We take reservations by email, phone, or text and rides generally need to be booked at least a day in advance . Once we receive your reservation request, we will send you a confirmation email or text with details regarding the payment and directions.

Upon arrival, we will finalize payment (cash, debit or credit card) and have you to review and sign our waiver. Riders under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver and are required to wear a helmet during the trail ride.
